When in Rome, go black and white. Hmmm, maybe that’s not the phrase, but that’s what’s happening here. Rome is a beautiful city with art and culture at every turn. From the Trevi Fountain to the Colosseum to St Peter’s Basilica, The Roman Forum and The Pantheon there’s loads to do and see in one of Italy’s hottest destinations. I realised when I came home that it was actually my black and white photos of Rome that brought out the beauty.

I visited in June and had a brilliant time wandering the streets scoffing as many flavours of gelato as possible as I went. Of course the pizzas here are some of the best you’ll ever try, add some wine to quaff them back with and some sunshine out on the restaurant patio and you’ve got yourself  a brilliant Rome holiday.
