Late for work, it was that late night that did us in, we need a good 10 hours of sleep here. Anyway, yet again more painting today, getting sick of slapping that white on the walls but I’m trying to enjoy it while it lasts I know I’ll miss the relaxing, calming place when it’s gone. The tan is coming along nicely, Conil is a really windy place because of the sea, but that’s perfect when you’re working as the cool breeze comes through.
We went to the beach in the afternoon, Isabel gave us a lift down at the risk of her car with all the potholes. The sea was vicious, we went in but the adrenaline was pumping as the huge waves knocked us off our feet. Had a swim and a sunbathe, then a drink. A bar for the rich and fancy looked out over the beautiful sparkling sea and sand – we sat and had a coke while ogling everyone’s fish dinners. Then it was a long scenic walk up the dirt tracks, over the roads and beyond the trees to home.
