Cool Hotel Near Brick Lane For You…

If you’re looking for a cool hotel near Brick Lane in London, Motel One Tower Hill is just a ten-minute walk from all the glories. If you’re not familiar with ‘Brick Lane’ it’s known as the best place to go in London for a curry, and to eat and drink in cool bar after cool bar.

It’s in Shoreditch, you might’ve heard of that? Where the hipsters hang out and the London creatives go to play.

I’ve stayed at Motel Ones in Berlin, Edinburgh and London now, and in my experience they’re a super slick and comfortable hotel chain that I’d definitely use again. And in Motel One Tower Hill, if you stay in room 1507 on the 15th floor, you’ll get these amazing views from the comfort of your 100% Egyptian cotton linen.

Brick Lane, London skyline views, and a super comfy bed – oh, and an amazing breakfast too. What more do you need for the ideal base to stay and explore the Big Smoke?

Rooms at Motel One are compact, with everything you need carefully designed into the space. I had coffee and tea facilities, a desk, a TV, and of course a bathroom with a good shower and a toilet. Comfy duvet, luxurious pillows and… silence.

I was meeting a friend on Southbank and it was a great location from there too, at just 20 minutes on the District Line to Embankment. I managed to whizz in and out, borrowing their iron to do my shirt and making it just in time.

A mile from St Paul’s Cathedral and just 300 yards from Tower Hill Station. It was a decent area and I felt fine walking home from Brick Lane at around 11pm by myself. Busy, but you couldn’t hear any of that from my room.

Stay at Motel One Tower Hill

Staying at Motel One was a relaxing break from the craziness going on at my house with the renovations. It’s great design for relatively little money for the centre of London. Motel One Tower Hill opened late 2014 and you can stay from £98 per night.
