Recently, I’ve been searching for new and alternative travel accommodations while preparing for my next exciting trip. Although I was still in the early stages of my planning, I did know that I wanted to stay somewhere that was a bit more luxurious than the average hotel while still being cost efficient. After searching through countless hotel and travel sites, I stumbled upon a site called which allowed me to learn a different approach to vacationing – Timeshare rentals.

I have to admit, when I first came across the word ‘timeshare’ I wasn’t exactly familiar with the term or the process. But as I kept reading, it became more apparent that renting a timeshare could be exactly what I was looking for.

And here’s why…

Timeshares offer much more space than the standard hotel room. The average timeshare offers 2 or 3 bedroom suites, most of which include a full kitchen, washer/dryer, and sometimes even private patio / balconies (depending on the location). I found that the Worldmark by Wyndham timeshare program offered all the amenities I was looking for, as well as the additional comforts of pools, golf, and even a spas (at certain resort locations). They offer over 60 locations throughout the world and members receive exclusive tours, cruises, and deals on flights and car rentals. I don’t want to discuss too much about all of the luxuries of the Worldmark brand, as that might take awhile! But, if you are as interested in it as I was, you can learn more about rental and even ownership options by visiting SellMyTimeshareNow’s dedicated page about them here.

One of the best features about timeshares is that they are global. Depending on the resort, or club you choose, the destinations can range from anywhere in North America and South America, stretching across Europe, and all the way to Australia and New Zealand. The options are endless. From the website you can search for the location you desire to visit, use the “for rent only “ filter, and pick the resort that appeals to you best. It’s that simple.

There are a variety of ways to rent a timeshare, but my recommendation would be to go through a third party resale/rental company such as the site I found, This is the most cost-efficient way to get the the best value for your money. I was seeing weekly prices that seemed ridiculously low for what you get, so it’s clear offers some of the best deals in the timeshare market.

By choosing a timeshare rental as my accommodation, I’ll be able to spend the week in a luxury resort suite for less than a cramped hotel room. I think it’s a pretty awesome option to check out.
