Matavera Beach Fales are an excellent choice for couples or solo travellers – they’re on the beach! The resort offers on-site excursions such as the weekly bonfire nights with a fire dance, culture shows, and trips to the ancient lava caves. Nearby watersports like snorkelling, surfing, and scuba diving are also available.

Amazing place. Paradise on earth. Astonishing views and environment. The vibe is very hostel like and all the staff is very friendly. Access is via a dirt road with rocks but possible with a 2wd (with care). Thanks a lot for the amazing stay!”

  • Price: £124+ per night

This two-bedroom apartment is the complete solution for your visit to Samoan. In this family friendly apartment you get two rooms with double beds, kitchen space, and swimming pools for kids and adults too.

The apartment reflects true Samoan vibes for you to enjoy. The interiors and exteriors are typical of a Samoan Traditional Fale. The apartment has its restaurant and a car for you to use too.

I booked the accom & car combo which was more cost-effective than booking those things separately especially during peak season (Teuila Festival). Location wise it is only 15 minutes from town & in the refreshing cool hills of Ululoloa. I found the staff to have excellent customer service & were really helpful. The apartment & car were spotless. The pool is gorgeous & the grounds are clean. A highlight for our group was the fia night, you’re in for a treat if you decide to attend. Looking forward to booking in again next year. Thanks, Terry & team!”
