I’ve been researching the best New Forest glamping spots.
The great thing about glamping in the New Forest, rather than camping, is that you’ll have access to a decent bathroom and kitchen facilities, to yourself.
Amazingly there aren’t that many New Forest glamping spots to enjoy, which is why I’ve decided to include some New Forest huts too. If you’re looking for somewhere unique to stay in the New Forest, then these glamping spots are well worth a stay.
I’ve written a whole post on the unique things to do in the New Forest, so if you want to make a weekend or week of it, then take a look at all the New Forest attractions too.

Take a look at my top picks for glamping in the New Forest, let me know which one’s your favourite at the end!
1. Cosy Cabin, Ringwood, New Forest
How about a cosy cabin on the edge of the New Forest this autumn? Can you picture you and your loved one toasting by that fire after a country walk / bike ride / horse ride?
This handcrafted log cabin is rustic and authentic, with an amazing veranda for relaxing. You’ll have a living room, kitchen area, bathroom and a garden too. The perfect size for the two of you to go glamping in the New Forest.
Stay here and Mudeford Beach and Bournemouth Beach are both less than a 20-minute drive away, and you’re right by all the joys of the New Forest too.
“The log cabin is for people who enjoy natural environments, with nature surrounding you. From owls landing on the roof at night, to the red deer running through the back field. This property is located in the National park and is for outdoor people. There will be spiders, moths, butterflies and bees. Anything to do with nature, you are sure to get a glimpse of what life is like living in the countryside.”

4. Rustic & cosy retreat 5 mins from the sea
Ok, this rustic and cosy retreat would be my number one choice from this list for glamping in the New Forest. It’s sooooo nice inside. And so cosy for autumn.
Have you ever been to Milford on Sea? It’s a stunning spot on the coast of the New Forest, and I LOVE it there. This rustic and cost retreat is just five minutes from the sea and you’ll love it.
It’s an absolutely stunning getaway for two people to enjoy the south coast of England, and the New Forest all in one.
This quirky home is secluded and private and down a quiet country lane. You can make the most of the outdoors area, with a BBQ and fire pit too. Just a ten-minute walk away you’ll find the delights of Milford village, and all around you’ll find great walks to enjoy this stunning part of England.

5. New Forest hut
If you want your New Forest glamping experience to be in the centre of a village, then this hut in Brockenhurst is a great idea. Brockenhurst is a great little village, and near a train station too, so a great choice if you don’t have your own wheels.
Stay here and there are loads of walking and cycling trails around, and there’s a sauna and a hot tub on site too. You’re free to use the garden if you need. Also, there’s wood and charcoal for the BBQ.

Other accommodation options in the New Forest
If you’re not quite ready for glamping in the New Forest, then there are other options. I spent a great weekend at Hoburne Bashley in a luxury caravan with my girlfriends one autumn, we had a great time. Or you could check out the Sandy Balls Holiday Resort, reviewed by twinstantrumsandcoldcoffee.com.
6. Shepherd’s Hut New Forest-Pet Friendly

Book this shepherd’s hut and you’ll have an ensuite shower, toilet, basin and a kitchenette too. You’ll also get a great breakfast, all from the local shop, with local produce. All well washed down with the free bottle of Prosecco you get with every booking. You can enjoy a double comfy bed and an electric wood burning stove too.
