Very Easy Festival Looks for 2026: 4 Outfit Ideas

Festival packing always sounds like fun… until you’re knee-deep in outfits with nowhere to start. I used to go all in on glitter, sequins and fancy dress, but this year I’m switching it up. Think easy, capsule-style outfits that are low-key, comfy and still look cool. Here are a few festival looks for 2026 to give you some inspo.

Chilling in my festival fashion

I’ve put together four easy festival looks to feel good in and still look like you’ve made an effort. If you’re thinking comfort first, style second, and a bit of personality thrown in then these outfits are perfect.

I’ve chosen each item as part of a capsule wardrobe – so you can mix and match with minimal packing. I recommend packing something warm and robust like a denim jacket to keep you warm when the sun goes down – and some great accessories like cross body bags, jewellery and sunnies to give a different look each day. All of these outfits are from Very.

Let me know which one you like best in the comments!

1. Silky leopard dress and denim jacket

Leopard print dress

There are so many midi dresses on Very to choose from. I loved this Leopard print one for it’s length, sleeves and lacy detail front. Goes great with these Schuh Boots and denim jacket from Very to keep you warm, and to help last all day in the main arena.

If it’s not raining and muddy then I’d much rather take a pair of boots over wellies – they just feel less faff. And they’re more stylish of course. Loving the pockets on this denim jacket too.

2. Flowery dress and denim jacket

A floral dress is a great choice for a field festival. Put those flowers back where they belong! This flowery dress goes great with the same denim jacket and boots from the previous outfit for that capsule festival wardrobe.

The best thing about dresses is how little space they take up in your backpack/suitcase too. You could even carry it with you and switch things up during the day, if you wanted.

3. Stripey tshirt, black wide leg jeans & crossbody bag

Let’s step away from the dresses and into the comfort of jeans, especially wide legs. Love, love, LOVE these ones. They’ve got a unique fold at the top on the buttons which makes them super comfortable to wear and flattering too.

They go perfectly with this stripey top that’s short and super relaxed and comfy. Again, pair with the Schuh boots, denim jacket and borg sling cross body bag to help you pack light. Don’t think I could actually love this outfit anymore. Wore it all day after this photo!

4. Red striped tee, denim jacket and wide leg jeans

Festival looks from Very

Make those jeans work for you – they’ll be the heaviest thing you bring but also one of the most useful. I love them paired with this 70s style crochet collar knit top. It makes for the perfect relaxed ‘festival sunday’ vibe.

I bought the trainers out for this one as I think you should always have two pairs of shoes at a festival in case your feet start to rub with all that walking.

Again, this outfit pairs well with the crossbody and the denim jacket from my other looks, although I feel like this tassel cross body would be even better if you have space in your backpack!

Easy festival looks

Don’t forget the extras that make all the difference – a lightweight waterproof, a hat for sunny mornings or hiding day-three hair, and a reusable water bottle to avoid those £3 refills. Get one that squashes down to fit better in that crossbody.

These easy festival looks are perfect if you want to pack light, not buy too many new things, and still feel great all weekend.
