Bridgetown and Christ Church
Bridgetown is the capital of Barbados, located southwest of the island. However, the one and the only commercial airport is actually located in Christ Church, southeast of Bridgetown about a 25-minute drive. For this reason, both areas are good choices if you want a wide option for accommodations in Barbados.
The most popular and best places to stay in Barbados is located between Bridgetown and Christ Church. These two areas are lined with beautiful hotels and resorts. Known for being convenient to tourists, these areas also have the most amazing beaches.
There are about 8 beaches between Bridgetown and Christ Church. All are filled with tall palm trees sitting pretty on fine white sand. While these two are famous areas, it is quite well-maintained. During the right season, you could spot turtles and fishes swimming not far from the shore.
1. Sugar Bay Barbados All Inclusive
A 4-star all-inclusive front beach resort, Sugar Bay Barbados offer colourful, yet elegant and unique rooms with amazing facilities. There is an in-house restaurant and bar, fitness centre, sauna, outdoor swimming pool, and spa services. Each room has a patio, you can either book an ocean view or a garden view. This is one of the best all-inclusive resorts in Barbados.
There’s also nightly entertainment consisting of live music, dancers, and even circus-type performances. The restaurant has a wide selection from steak to sushi and the bar offers a local and international drink menu. Accommodations in Saint Philip, Barbados
If you are unsure where to stay in Barbados when it comes to not going too far away from the capital, Saint Philip might be the place for you. This neighbourhood is in a great location if you want to avoid the huge crowd of Bridgetown and Christ Church while not going too far away from shops (to pick up some Barbados gifts) and restaurants.
It is on the southeast side of the island. Crane Beach and Foul Bay are the two most admired spots for swimming.
