Did NOT realise how big and sprawling the grounds of Petra are!

So glad to have made it here after years of wanting to go, and the last few weeks of planning. We made it up to this viewpoint over the Treasury, it was the easiest of the many, although I was still totally out of breath carrying Reggie up there. He was more interested in the kittens in the cave at the top, giving me palpitations chasing them, but he enjoyed the climb.

With a toddler in tow it's a bit slower, obviously, but I'm proud of us all for getting up there. The whole site is just incredible!

Just a day at the Four Seasons Hotel Spa in Hampsh

Just a day at the Four Seasons Hotel Spa in Hampshire @fshampshire last week, and I was REFRESHED. Amazing what a luxury day out can do!

It's such a beautiful location in the South Downs – even the drive there was amazing. Fabulous food, lovely staff, relaxing facial, great sun loungers, and that swimming pool and jacuzzi – all in one place. There was a kids area too, although I enjoyed a rare day to myself sans 👶.

A good reminder that you don't have to go abroad for some downtime – so many spas and locations in England to enjoy. Definitely recommend this one!

AD It's easy (and great value) to travel by bus this summer, with buses capped at £2 for a single journey till October. I bought a day pass for £5 for First Bus in Portsmouth and went down to Portsmouth Historic Dockyard with Reggie.

After a morning there we boarded the Southsea Coaster bus from Gunwharf Quays, through Old Portsmouth, past Clarence Pier and to Southsea Parade Pier along the beach, on the OPEN TOP BUS. Fun!

The Southsea Coaster runs every hour along the seafront, and your day pass is valid on First Buses around Portsmouth, just book on the app. It's a great way to get to the beach, stress free!

Well, 3rd August sure came around quickly. Tomorro

Well, 3rd August sure came around quickly. Tomorrow I get to have anaesthetic put in my eye before a flap is created and removed on the cornea for the laser to target. Then the flap is replaced to settle back in place. I get to do it twice!

Thankfully it's only a few minutes per eye. They're gonna be lonnnng minutes though! Wish me luck 😭🙌.
