This is my favourite of all the great places to stay in Tromso, Tromso Lodge and Camping. Imagine seeing the Aurora Borealis from this house!
I’d love to have my own cosy little space in that lodge to go hiking and exploring from.


Located by the Tromsdalselva River, Tromso Lodges are just 5 minutes’ drive from Tromsø city centre. They have cottages with private patios and kitchen facilities. WiFi and parking are free.

Located across the river in the neighbourhood of Tromsdalen, but still within walking distance of the city centre, this Cosy Annex is a 20m² space in a quiet residential area.
Cosy is the name of the game: the space is pretty small, but it has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Including a garden and small balcony with views of the surrounding mountains.
This is the perfect little place for one or two guests to cosy up while the snow is falling outside!
10. Koselig Hytte (Cosy Cottage)

Also in Tromsdalen, within easy reach of both the mountains and the city centre, you can stay in one of these two Cosy Cottages. They’re like miniature log cabins, perfect if you want the wilderness experience without getting too far away from the city!
The cabins are self-contained studios, with bunk beds, a small kitchenette, and a living area (complete with Apple TV) all in one room. There’s also an exterior bathroom which is shared between the two cabins.
