15. Solidays, Paris
28th – 30th June 2024
Solidays takes place every year in Paris to support organisations working on AIDS awareness and prevention. Through using music to draw in crowds, Solidays has managed to raise millions of euros for AIDS charities, making it one of the most impactful charity music festivals in the world.

It’s also traditional to jump over the bonfire for good luck. Or, if you’re celebrating my the sea, you might take a midnight dip in the sea too. The overall atmosphere is generally one of communal joy, music, and dance, where everyone stays up together.
17. Bali Arts Festival
15th June – 13th July 2024
The Bali Arts Festival is a month-long event in June, and is meant to showcase the art and culture of Bali. It features daily performances, art exhibitions, and other cultural activities, all aimed at preserving Bali’s heritage while also promoting tourism to the island.
It’s a traditional festival, typically inaugurated with a parade that features Balinese music and dance, as well as intricate costumes and floats representing various regions and themes. All of the events are also free and celebrate a particular theme. In 2023, the theme was Bayupramana, which stands for wind (or air) and power. The festival has yet to announce the theme for 2024.
